Engagement portraits at the camp, and the lab with Mallory and Vik

Had a chance to photograph some fun engagement portraits with a very fun couple this week in Orange County. Mallory and Vik are what I like to refer to as good peeps. I immediately liked working with them, and knew right off the bat we were in for a session full of fun a laughter. We spent the majority of our engagement session bouncing around costa mesa. Our first portraits were at Tiwinkle park, then off to the camp for some more urban portraits, and finally finishing at the lab, or anti mall for the urban grunge shots. Looking forward to working with Mallory and Vik next summer for their wedding!

San Diego Engagement Portraits | Amber and Mark

Decided to make it an afternoon with Amber and Mark’s san diego engagement session on saturday. These Southern california transplants were really a blast to work with. Our session took us to some really popular attractions in Greater San Diego. Starting with portraits in the amazing Balboa Park! (even if we didn’t get the fig tree shot…dam fences;-), then off to the gaslamp district for some engagement portraits with a more urban feel. I love the colors and textures of the gaslamp in San Diego! We then ripped over the coronado bridge for sunset portraits backed by the san diego skyline. Can’t wait for these guys wedding next August at Serra Plaza in San Juan Capistrano!
